Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 2002, BYPOPI has been passionate about music from a young age. He explored various instruments, including guitar, piano, and drums, developing a wide-ranging taste in music from The Beatles to techno. After finishing preparatory school, BYPOPI decided to fully immerse himself in music production and sound design. His dedication to his craft led him to collaborate with local artists in Uruguay and Argentina, primarily focusing on urban and Latin genres. In 2024, BYPOPI took a significant step in his career by launching his project “BAILAR.“, a six-track EP that fuses techno and tech-house beats with Latin vocals.

Hi, I’m a full-time music producer born in Uruguay and currently living in Spain.
Please tell us about your latest music EP, ‘BAILAR.‘
‘BAILAR.‘ is an EP of electronic dance music. It blends techno-house with Latin vocals, an uncommon mix for this genre. The main message of the project is to have fun, dance, party, and enjoy life outdoors. This message is combined with lyrics about love, fun, and time.

My journey consists of experiencing music in various ways. When I’m not producing with other artists, I’m working on my own project, listening to upcoming music, or attending local concerts. I dedicate my life to music and strive to live through it as much as I can.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Being consistent and having fun. I’m working 24/7 on things I love, so my passion is very strong in any work I’ve done. This has helped me a lot to keep my motivation alive.
