Please introduce yourself and tell us about what it is that you do.

I’m an attorney who focuses on Advertising/Marketing Law & Cybersecurity Law. I love to learn and spend most of my free time reading, taking courses, and learning. I love to teach, as well.

Can you please tell us more about your journey?

I’ve worked at big companies, small companies, I’ve started my own companies, and I’ve learned a lot. I can help my clients because I’ve been in their shoes. I’ve owned businesses that sell on Shopify, Amazon, Facebook. I’ve dealt with the challenges of importing products, supply chain issues, drafting contracts, and dealing with emergencies.

Please tell us about your firm.

Aaron-Kelly-Firm-Pic

I run a law firm and consulting business that focuses on helping clients identify, mitigate, and remediate compliance problems. My focus is also on clients and helping them. I’ve become proficient in various tools for helping to identify and eliminate the risk of vulnerabilities. I also provide technical security assessments.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

Diving into my client’s business so that I can completely understand what they are going through. I want to be able to identify every problem they have and help them fix it.

Any message for our readers.

Change your passwords. Seriously, stop using the same passwords on websites. People think that they won’t get hacked, and I’ve seen first hand what it can do. Take operational security (OPSEC) seriously. Do not let it be something you think about occasionally. You need to have it at the forefront when dealing with anything online.

Fantastic! So tell us, how can people find out more about you?

You can check out my website, or see my awful coding skills at GitHub; I’m still learning python.

Thank you for your time, Aaron! It was a pleasure to have this conversation with you!
