Constance Marie or Constance Marie Lopez is an American actress. She is best known for her roles in George Lopez, Switched at Birth, and Undone. One of her first notable roles was in the film Selena where she played the mother of the singer Selena Quintanilla, who tragically was killed at a young age.

Constance Marie grew up in California and started working as a teen.

Between 2000 and 2015, the actress was in a relationship with Kent Katich, a yoga instructor. In 2009, they had a daughter.

Professional Life

At the age of 19, Marie worked as a dancer in Cosmopolis from Ryuichi Sakamoto in Japan. Shortly after, she was hired for the Glass Spider Tour after a choreographer for David Bowie saw her in a club. In 1988, the actress debuted in the film Salsa. Then, she would go on to appear in Early Edition, Dirty Dancing, and Spin City. On television, she was in Ally McBeal.

In 1988, Marie debuted on screen, albeit as a dancer in Glass Spider. In 1995, she was in My Family. Her role in Selena came in 1997, and in 1999, she was in The Last Marshal.
