Thank you so much for joining us today! Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
My name is Elisa H. Masi – that’s not my real name; I prefer using a pen name. It helps me keep my private life private. I had a load of story ideas that the guys in Elmaga thought were worth telling to the wider audience. Elmaga have helped me a lot to focus on producing stories that work and some that have very deep messages to share, while others are just great fun!
Please tell us about your Book.
So, Untamed War is the second book in my Untamed Series, and it focuses on the aftermath of the events of the first book, which acts like an introduction to the characters we meet. A father who’s trying to make a better world for his children, a mother who will protect the life she and her children have at almost any cost, and the three children who are miles apart in terms of ideals and methods. At the end of the last book, we have dealt with a threat, established who and what lengths each character will go to, in order to maintain control.
Please tell us about your journey.
The whole series started in 2018 when I decided I had an idea of trying to survive in a world after Albert Einstein’s quote, “I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.” So I decided to start exploring that world.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Success is a hard one to measure, because you don’t realise it until it’s come and you’re full in it, or until it passes. In my case, I hope people enjoy it. There are plenty of other books that I have been working on with Elmaga; hopefully, they’ll be getting release dates later this year.
