A Joyful Path to Learning
Early learning plays a huge role in shaping how children explore the world. When kids feel excited and supported, they soak up knowledge with ease. That’s the captivation behind My First Activity Workbook: Ages Baby to 6 by Rachel Kie. With the cheerful guide, Benny Boo, this workbook invites children into an engaging journey that balances fun with education. Parents and teachers everywhere are discovering how this five-star resource makes young learners eager to participate, explore, and grow.
Activities That Spark Curiosity
My First Activity Workbook doesn’t settle for the basics. It opens doors to a wide range of activities designed to hold a child’s attention while steadily building their skills. Inside its colorful pages, children will find exercises on phonics, shapes, tracing lines, addition, and subtraction. There are also coloring sections, currency charts, crossword puzzles, and even lessons highlighting international and Caribbean countries and many more activities. This variety means that no two learning moments feel the same.
Benny Boo, the bright and cheerful character at the heart of the workbook, keeps kids inspired every step of the way. His presence helps transform each task into an adventure. Whether a child is counting, identifying emotions, or discovering new words, they’re encouraged to learn with joy rather than pressure. That sense of positivity creates an environment where learning naturally sticks.
A Workbook Loved by Families and Schools

Parents love resources that do more than just entertain. They want materials that teach while nurturing creativity and confidence. That’s why this workbook has earned glowing testimonials and widespread praise. Many families report that children look forward to their workbook time, often reaching for it on their own. Teachers also note how well the activities fit into group learning, helping students strengthen both academic and social skills.
The influence of My First Activity Workbook has already reached beyond homes. It’s now part of the curriculum in several preschools across international and Caribbean communities. That’s a strong signal that educators recognize its value. With its focus on both fundamentals and cultural awareness, the workbook gives children a balanced foundation. It’s a tool that helps them not only read and calculate but also connect with the world around them.
The Author’s Inspiring Journey

Behind the workbook is author Rachel Kie, whose path to writing began during the global pandemic in 2021. Raised on the vibrant twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago, Rachel had explored different career fields over the years, including Human Resources, Real Estate, and Event Management. Each role was rewarding in its own way, yet something felt missing.
One day during prayer, Rachel asked God for clarity about her true purpose. The answer came quickly and unexpectedly. Seeing her son’s textbook sparked an idea: if he could grasp challenging concepts, then any child could, with the right tools. Inspired by that thought, she began creating her first children’s activity workbook. It was a turning point, blending her creativity, faith, and love of learning into a single calling.
Rachel’s vision is rooted in the belief that children are smarter than we often give them credit for. She writes with the goal of giving every child a chance to succeed academically and socially. To her, education is “above and beyond,” a limitless resource that can unlock every child’s potential.

We had the privilege of interviewing Rachel Kie. Here are excerpts from the interview.
Hi Rachel, it’s great to have you with us today! Please share about yourself with our readers.
Hi, I am an Author and a Writer. Thus far, I have written and published three children’s educational books. I also write songs and screenplays, and I am an actress.
Please tell us about your journey.
During my childhood, I would often see myself as an educator. I used to wear my mother’s high heels and pretend to teach my dolls and teddy bear. I would write on my bedroom door and carry on with class. Reaching adulthood, I began teaching but strayed from that direction and tested several other career fields. I often felt like something was missing, and one day God redirected me back to my first love. Now I write educational books and just about anything that brings me happiness, all in a positive light, of course. I’m passionate about sharing knowledge with our future generations and reaching them far and wide. A strong foundation for them is key. This is my greatest journey, and my love for it grows stronger each day. With that, I have a lot more stories to tell…
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
I believe in prayer, so I always ask God to lead the way. As long as you give him the steering wheel, you are on a successful journey. Of course, there are going to be humps and bumps, and you may need to pull over for some water, if you know what I mean. As long as you believe in yourself and you stay focused and committed, no matter how rough the ride is, you will overcome and reach your greatest achievement.
Any message for your readers?

Thank you so much, Rachel, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
