Hi, thank you so much for joining us today! Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
My name is Gloria Maria Solé, and I am a writer and artist. I recently published my book Finding Jesus, a spiritual memoir that reflects my personal journey of faith, healing, and rediscovery. Alongside writing, I also create faith-inspired artwork, which I turn into journals, postcards, and prints to help others connect with God in a more personal and reflective way.

My journey has been deeply personal. There were seasons where I felt distant, confused, and disconnected, even while everything around me seemed fine. I spent a lot of time healing in silence, trying to understand myself and my faith. In those quiet and often difficult moments, I began to encounter Jesus in a way I hadn’t before—not in perfection, but in vulnerability. Finding Jesus was born out of that journey, as a reflection of those moments of doubt, awakening, and the realization that He was always present, even when I couldn’t feel Him.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
For me, it wasn’t about strategies in the traditional sense. It was about learning to slow down, to be honest with myself, and to embrace silence instead of running from it. Taking time away from distractions helped me reconnect with what truly mattered. Writing became a way for me to process my thoughts and emotions, and creating art allowed me to express what words sometimes couldn’t. Consistency, patience, and staying grounded in faith were key, even when I didn’t see immediate results.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to find God. Even in confusion, silence, or moments where you feel distant, He is still there.
