Hi! My name is Natasha Rose, and I am a new erotic author. I have my book Testify out now on Amazon, and I’m excited to share what’s inside my naughty mind!
Please tell us about your book ‘Testify’
My book ‘Testify’ is about Delilah, who works as Caramel at a strip club. A shootout has occurred. The investigating detective is trying to find out who is behind these shootouts and drug dealings around the city. After questioning her, they form a lusty relationship that quickly turns serious. Delilah is hiding the truth from the detective about who is behind the shootings and drug dealings. They both find themselves in the thick of the case and quickly realize that getting out would require them to trust each other.
Please tell us about your journey.
My journey as an author has been one of self-discovery, strong will, and belief in myself. All my life, I’ve done careers or passions that everyone else has wanted me to do or what I should do. One day, I asked myself, “When you introduce yourself to people, what do you want to say? Who are you truly?” And I said, “Author.” I entered in a writing contest for a university when I was 15 years old and I was awarded a high distinction. So, it is my true passion and desire. Now I have the courage to start, and as I have completed my book, I do not want to Stop!
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Strong self-belief, realistic goals for your book’s success, working at it daily, organizing a perfect work-life balance where you work hard yet still have time to keep up with what’s important (I am a mother and a wife), and never ever stop promoting anyway anyhow you can do it! Go outside the ideals! For instance, I wore my novel t-shirt at an erotica convention and had my book launch party at a popular lingerie store! People stopped and asked all sorts of questions, and I got sales!
