1. Who are your role models?

My role models are my parents, both retired school teachers. They taught me what it means to be a leader instilling confidence in me from a young age.

2. What inspires you?

I’m inspired by positive growth. Whatever that may be, whether its career, sports, personal appearance. It doesn’t matter as long as it’s taking someone to a better place than they were before.

3. Please tell us about what you do.


I am the CEO and Co-Founder of MyCoachMD. Our focus is providing a great patient experience working with both the internal and external clients. We help educate consumers interested in aesthetic procedures so that they “know before they go” and support them throughout their entire aesthetic journey. We also work with individuals and practices to help improve the patient experience through every touchpoint. We love what we do.

4. What’s your most memorable experience?

My most memorable experiences are working with the patients, hearing their stories, and helping be a part of changing their lives. I have shared some of those stories in my book Blue-Collar Beauty.

5. Which social media channels work best for promoting your work?

I love Instagram and probably use that platform and Linkedin the most.

6. What’s your greatest fear?

My fear is we continue on this path of ridiculous expectations of perfection. It’s not real, and girls, women need to know that what they see in magazines and social media is fake, airbrushed, fixed, whatever you want to call it. Beauty is everywhere, and while there’s nothing wrong with enhancing your appearance if that’s what you want, find a place of confidence in who you are, nobody’s perfect.

7. Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?

It’s interesting, I didn’t realize the book world was so much like a business.

8. What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

I talk about in my book so much is about networking and who you know. It also takes incredible focus and work ethic. Success is a long game, not a short game. I focus on small wins.

9. Any message for our readers.

I would tell your readers, keep going. Resilience is key. I’ve sent books to every major magazine, tv show, etc-no response-crickets! You know what, I keep trying because what’s amazing about social media is that it only takes that one person to read your book. I’ve already had great success, and I’m going to keep going, its always about growing.
