We had the pleasure of interviewing Keegan Sauerbrei, a.k.a. EarthToKeegan or ETK. Here are the excerpts from the interview.
Hi, Great to have you with us today! Please share with our readers about yourself.
I am an artist from Wooster, Ohio. I started making music in the early years of high school. I started off taking it not seriously at all. Then I started making music even though it was crappy, crappy mixes and masters. I fell in love. Something about hearing myself on a beat just sounded right. Then a year later, of just messing around with music and learning, I turned it into a full-time hobby of mine. Now I’m out of high school and moving towards bigger visions for myself and this music career. Then I found my gangenem W3K we work as a team, it’s ETK, Runnitup, and Tanji. A shout-out to Runnitup and Tanji, we roll as a team of We3Kings.
Please tell us about your latest song, HeartAche.
I recently came out with a song called “HeartAche” it’s a story that tells people how I feel and how others feel. I struggled with depression growing up, and I know millions, billions of others do too. This song is also directed toward drug addiction. I grew up solely around drugs and people on drugs…which later turned into me doing them as well. This song is here to help you open up your feelings so you can express them. Tension release and emotion release to let you know it’s ok what you’re going through, and you are not alone. You can make it through it; you’re allowed to express your feelings. Don’t listen to people who judge you. Keep doing you.

My message to anyone who views this is to keep going don’t let humanity drag you down. Don’t listen to the critics; do you, and only you. Help the ones who need it along your journey and bring them up. Don’t shame anyone. Remember to stay positive.
