‘One Day’ from the album, Therapy Sessions depicts the struggles of a young person growing up with nobody to rely on. Meet the Recording Artist Saint Brown!

Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Saint Brown, Actor, Recording Artist, Producer, and Director. He attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts and attended drama classes. Music was something that came along much later as a way to unburden himself with emotional baggage. He quickly realized that not only was it unburdening, but it also gave others a chance to see that they were not alone in their struggles. He continues to make music that is thought-provoking with morals and points that most can relate to.

Hi, please tell us about what it is that you do.

I currently work at a hospital with surgical patients, but we are now a covid floor 🙁 I also write music and do some acting with indie films as well. I can be found on IMDB. I have directed and written the music videos to my songs, as well as the one collabs with Tony Cobain in our Rap duo group Conscience Media.

Please tell us more about your journey.

I grew up in Washington, DC. I was on my own at an early age, where I spent a lot of time running the streets. I have a lot of emotional and moving stories that I now share through my music. Most of my songs are about things I personally went through, and now I share them with others to let them know they are not alone. I will be delving deeper into my past with the upcoming album ‘Therapy Sessions.’

Please tell us more about your music.

One Day‘ will be the lead track on the upcoming album, Therapy Sessions. ‘One Day’ speaks of earlier days with my mother. It speaks on thoughts of depression and lack of self-worth. It depicts the struggles of a young person growing up with nobody to rely on.

I like a 90’s style of music because I feel that was the last era of real vibes and sound. People put their hearts into their music, and that’s exactly what I want to do as well.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

Just being myself and being true to myself is one of the main strategies. Learning to love who I am has helped me to extend love and kindness to others.
