We had the pleasure of interviewing Yaqeen, a Singer, Songwriter, and Producer.

Hi Yaqeen, Great to have you with us today! Please share with our readers about yourself.
Hi, I’ve always been observant. Growing up, I was a professional footballer, and I was kind of popular; hence I’ve contained loads of stories and met many great and interesting people, “which I love a lot, haha.” Since I’m observant, I’ve always noticed whenever I express emotions or say something vulnerable. I get priceless reactions from people I admire, which last a few seconds of contemplating what I just expressed or said.
I want to express my duality, individuality, and creativity through and from my music and art.
What inspired you to take up music?
I’ve always been the type to enjoy telling interesting and intriguing stories — “based on the listeners’ reactions.” But it seemed to drain my energy and was a momentary pleasure. And I tended to feel I wasn’t heard, although I was. So the idea of becoming an artist & singer song popped into my mind for the second time, but this time I grasped it and made a committed decision that I’m becoming that so I can tell my stories in an enjoyable way, so people not only listen to me but also experience what I’m talking about.
