Hi, It’s great to have you with us today! Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
Hello! My name is Ferny G, and I am a singer/performer from the Pacific Northwest. I love to sing pop music but my music is more leaning toward hip-hop and alternative. I’m very interesting when it comes to my beat choices.
Please tell us about your Music.
My latest release has been sparking up a flame on Instagram. It is called “RESTORED (Fix your bad day), and it was released on May 10, 2024. It’s a mixture of pop and hip-hop, I would say. The lyrics are all right, but the hook is hooking. Watch out, and don’t get snagged!
Please tell us about your journey.
Well, I’ve always known that I wanted to be a performer and sing since I was seven years old. At the time, I was quite fascinated with a little lady named Beyoncé and wanted to be just like her. Years go by, and I start publicly singing at the age of 16. I sang at fairs, parties, and my high school talent show, and I was nervous, of course. But I kept going and kept working on my craft, which was singing. Then came songwriting and making my original music at 18. Ever since then, I’ve had the pleasure of performing at gigs around my town and even did a show in Seattle! Since then, I’ve released 2 EPs, an album, and a wad of singles. Currently, I’m writing more music to inspire those out there who are just like me to never give up on themselves and to always work hard for what you want. Music is a part of who I am, and I will do what it takes to make my dreams come true.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Networking and promoting your music to social media. To be honest, I’m still figuring out strategies to help me boost my streams and popularity.
