His Latest Single “Wrong” – A New Sound in R&B and Alternative Pop

Shaynethecub’s sound is distinct in the music world, blending the smoothness of R&B with the experimental edge of alternative pop. His latest single, “Wrong,” released on July 19, 2024, has quickly garnered positive feedback, resonating with listeners on a personal level. The track runs for 2 minutes and 43 seconds, yet within that brief period, it captures a rawness that many artists shy away from. Sonically, “Wrong” feels nostalgic, evoking memories of past experiences and emotions, but at the same time, it feels fresh and current.

Shaynethecub is known for taking risks with his lyrics, and “Wrong” is a prime example of that boldness. It’s catchy, yes, but there’s more to it than just a memorable hook. The lyrics cut deep, revealing the raw emotion that fuels Shaynethecub’s creative process. It’s a song that makes people feel seen and understood, a song that reminds them that they aren’t alone in their struggles.

The Music that speaks to the soul

Unlike many artists who start their musical journey at a young age, Shaynethecub came into his own later in life. He began taking vocal lessons at the age of 23, realizing that while he had raw talent, it needed honing. His journey to finding his voice wasn’t easy, but he worked tirelessly with his mentor, Bradley Walden, the lead singer of Emarosa. Together, they explored different genres, refining Shaynethecub’s sound until it became what it is today: a revolutionary blend of R&B and alternative pop that speaks to the soul.

Now, at 32, Shaynethecub has made music a constant part of his life. His songs aren’t just about love and heartbreak; they’re also about the struggle to find one’s voice, and the desire to connect with an audience on a deeper level.

“I write with no apologies,” says Shaynethecub. “My songs scream it.” This fearless approach to songwriting is what sets him apart from other artists. He doesn’t sugarcoat his emotions or water down his lyrics to fit a certain mold. Instead, he writes exactly what he feels, letting his listeners see and feel everything he’s going through. His best ability, he says, is crafting melodies that stick with you long after the song is over, combined with lyrics that hit you right in the heart.

Building a Fan Base, One Honest Song at a Time

Shaynethecub is focused on building a fan base that truly connects with his music. He believes that his songs have the power to help people, to make them feel less alone in their struggles, and that’s what drives him to keep creating.

Finding an audience, isn’t always easy. But Shaynethecub remains determined. He’s not just making music for the sake of it; he’s making music that matters, music that speaks to people’s hearts. Whether it’s through a catchy hook, a gut-wrenching lyric, or a moment of vulnerability, he wants his listeners to feel something real when they hear his songs.

Songs like “Wrong” exemplify this goal. The track’s relatability comes from its honesty, its willingness to say the things most people are afraid to admit. It’s this fearlessness that resonates with listeners, making them feel like they’re not alone in their thoughts and emotions.

The Future of Shaynethecub

As Shaynethecub continues to navigate the music industry, he remains focused on what’s most important to him: staying true to his voice and connecting with his audience. Whether he’s writing for himself or other artists, his music is always a reflection of who he is—unapologetically honest, emotionally raw, and incredibly catchy.

With songs like “Wrong” gaining traction, it’s clear that Shaynethecub is on the path to finding his audience. And as more people discover his music, they’ll no doubt be drawn to his unique sound and fearless approach to songwriting. In a world where so much music feels manufactured and artificial, Shaynethecub offers something real. His music is a testament to the power of honesty, and as he continues to grow as an artist, there’s no doubt that he’ll continue to make songs that speak to the hearts of his listeners.

We had the privilege of interviewing the Music Artist; here are excerpts from the interview:

Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.

Shaynethecub

I am actually a wealth manager for a large brokerage firm, but I also song-write for artists and myself as a passion. I started late in life at 23, and now, at 32, I have made music a constant part of what I do in my life. I’m a kid who grew up in an Indian household with two loving parents. Being born and brought up in America, there were differences, and I was able to share some of my story in music. Obviously, heartbreak and relationships were a big motive to start finding singing and songwriting as an outlet.

Please tell us about your Latest Single.

I just put out a song called “Wrong” that has gotten very positive feedback as it is brutally honest and relatable as it is catchy. Sonically the song really has a vibe that feels nostalgic as well as “damn he said that,” and yes, I mean it.

Please tell us about your journey.

I started taking vocal lessons at 23 and found my talent, so I took to find my voice and the genre of music I wanted to make, and now, in my later years, I am trying to find a way to find my audience. Having a fan base who can really connect with these songs, I think, could help a lot of people.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

I stay consistent and keep writing, singing, and putting out songs of one person listening for 1 million. I just enjoy sharing what’s inside my head and emotionally what I was or am going through in the moment.
