Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing upcoming popular musician Lucas, also known as KNOWFACE. Here are the excerpts from the interview:
Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us about what it is that you do.
My name is Lucas. The name I make music under is KNOWFACE. I am an artist. I am a philosopher. I am a lover. I care about people, and I enjoy making hip-hop.
Please tell us more about your journey.
I come from a difficult background with not much growing up. My mom was broke and trying her best, and my father was murdered when I was five years old, so he was not around. I gravitated toward the streets and hip-hop early on. As a kid, I felt a sense of community and brotherhood being involved in petty crime and the graffiti world. After some time, we moved from LA to Colorado. The addiction proceeded and spiraled out of control. Ended up in and out of prison and homeless for periods of time. Throughout this whole process, I was making music (writing, freestyling, etc.).
Eventually, 2019 comes around, and I decide to get my shit together once and for all. Since then, I’ve been working my ass off and staying away from the bs. Presently, I am fully established and simply focused on art/music as well as my family and personal life.
Please tell us about your latest Music.
My current music I’m dropping is mainly singles. I dropped an album called ‘Grateful To Be Here’ not too long ago. I will be dropping a single once a week every week until I don’t feel like it 😂. I don’t know when’s the next time I’ll drop an album. I’m sure I’ll get the itch here soon at some point. For now, the singles have kept me busy. My music is on all streaming platforms.

A message I’d have for people: “Gratitude is the Skeleton Key.” the more grateful you are, the more blessings you will be able to keep and receive.
Never stop being grateful for the things you have in your life: family, friends, shelter, food, etc. I will be creating a small YouTube channel if you would like to learn more about me and my addiction experience, prison experience, and homelessness experiences. Love you all ❤️⚡️💙
