Thank you so much for joining us today! Please tell us about yourself and your musical journey.
I am Giù, also known as Joseph Ingrassia – a French singer-songwriter, painter, and emergency doctor. My art was born out of a near-death experience during COVID. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to creating powerful, poetic, and universal songs. Over the past three years, I’ve released four albums and a rock opera musical. Two new albums are ready for release in 2025.
I’m a multidisciplinary artist with a unique journey. As an emergency doctor, I decided to turn pain into creation. Music saved me. I write, compose, sing, direct my own videos, and also write musicals and novels. My style blends rock, poetry, and emotion.
Please tell us about your latest album.
My latest project is “Back is Rock”, a modern and timeless rock album featuring punchy lyrics, unforgettable melodies, and real artistic vision. It speaks of freedom, urgency, love, and rebirth.
“Back is Rock” is a tribute to rock music. It features 12 energetic and emotional tracks. The standout song “Retourner chez toi” (a duet from my musical Alice in Wonderland) is already a potential hit, filled with drama and depth.
What strategies have helped you succeed?
Authenticity above all. I don’t follow trends – I create freely and genuinely. I work with great musicians and producers while maintaining my artistic independence. The message always comes first.

Depuis, je me consacre à la création de chansons puissantes, poétiques et universelles. Au cours des trois dernières années, j’ai sorti quatre albums et une comédie musicale rock. Back is Rock est un hommage à la musique rock. Il comporte 12 titres à la fois énergiques et émouvants. La chanson phare Retourner chez toi (un duo extrait de ma comédie musicale Alice au pays des merveilles) est déjà un potentiel succès, empreint de drame et de profondeur.

L’authenticité avant tout. Je ne suis pas les tendances – je crée librement et sincèrement. Je travaille avec d’excellents musiciens et producteurs tout en gardant mon indépendance artistique. Le message passe toujours en premier.
