Hi Avery, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about yourself with our readers.
Hi, I am a multi-instrumentalist raised in San Francisco, now based in New York. Singer-songwriter, drummer, guitarist, pianist, I do it all.

Please tell us about your single, Elmwood Park.
Elmwood Park is the first song I put out in over 10 years, following my coming out of retirement. It’s the first single off my upcoming album, Rooftops, which is scheduled to be released in early 2025.
Please share your journey with our readers.
I started music in high school in 2007 under the name Jason DeLima. From 2007 through 2015, I released 2 full-length albums, completed a challenge where I wrote and released a song every week for a whole year entitled “Song-A-Week!”, drummed for numerous bands such as Nothing Personal and the Foxfires, released two EPs with the Foxfires. Now, I’m back to rediscovering my love and passion for music.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
I’ve learned one important thing: if you love something, let it go. If it comes back, it’s meant to be. Just like how I let music go, and it came back.
Any message for our readers?
Pursue your dreams. Do what you want; don’t let anybody else tell you what to do. Punk-rock mentality.
Thank you so much, Avery, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
