Seeking Forgiveness is a project that dives deep into my thoughts, struggles, and triumphs. I express my love for Allah while sharing raw stories about life in Baltimore. It’s real, it’s personal, and it’s my way of speaking the truth while also motivating others to keep pushing, no matter what they face.
Please tell us about your journey.
My journey started in Baltimore, where I had to learn a lot of things the hard way. Music became an outlet for me to express what I was going through. When I dropped Blakh Talk in 2019, I saw how much my story resonated with people, especially in the industry. Since then, it’s been a grind to stay true to myself while leveling up. Along the way, I’ve been driven by my faith and a desire to uplift others. I’ve learned that no matter where you come from, you can make it out with the right mindset and determination.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
The first strategy is staying authentic. People can tell when you’re faking it, so I’ve always made sure my music reflects who I am and what I stand for. Another key strategy has been consistency—staying in the studio, dropping content regularly, and keeping my name active in the scene. Networking has also been huge; building relationships with people in the industry helped me gain valuable exposure. Lastly, my faith has kept me grounded and focused. I know that everything happens for a reason, and I trust the process.
