Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Kristina Halloway, a successful singer and musician.
The Daughter of a Pastor…Kristina discovered her gift of Musical Ministry at a young age. In 2010 Halloway released her 13 track debut album, ‘Free,‘ which included her hit single ‘It’s Only You.’ The album gave Kristina significant exposure and earned her a BET nomination in which she was able to sing for the President Of Entertainment for BET Steven Hill. Kristina’s single Peaked at the Billboard Top 100 single Charts as #11. Also, in Canada Top 20, as #17 on the charts. In 2011, she took home the Stellar Award for New Artist Of The Year.
Kristina is devoted to spreading the word to the world. Just as God is cool, he’s also Omnipotent. She strives to reach the younger audience to the eldest.
Ms. Halloway’s Credits include a singing background for platinum singer/Songwriter Lil’ Mo. She has shared the stage with Greats, such as Toby Mac, Vickie Winans, Jars Of Clay, Castings Crowns, John Cook, Dave Hollister, and many others. She is also an actress. She has shined for an acting role in ‘The Greatest Love Story Ever Told‘ sharing the stage with Richard Roundtree, Anna Marie Harsford, Clifton Davis, Miguel Nunez, Guy Torry, Tommy Davidson, Tatyana Ali, and Hezekiah Walker, and produced by multiple Emmy Award winner Ed Weinberger.
Kristina Halloway has her sights set on acquiring her dreams, one accomplishment at a time, Inspiring our youth that all things are possible with God. Uplifting Our Leaders, and become a revered force in the Gospel/Christian Community.
Kristina is now Recording her upcoming EP. Kristina is in the Broadway Play ‘The Defiled Bed.’ She’s cast as one of the main characters. The show sold out on Broadway, and they are now preparing to go on tour. Kristina is currently working on her album. Her new single, ‘Just A Sunrise Away,’ is now on all media outlets.
Hi, Great to have you with us today! Please tell us about what it is that you do.
I’m a Stellar Award Winner/BET Nominee. I’ve been in the music industry for a very long time. I recently just got back into it. I am signed to Alchemist Music Group; I’m recording my EP now, which will be out this summer.
Please tell us about your company, Faith On A Thousand (FOAT).
I recently just started my company. I am the CEO of (Faith On A Thousand). FOAT it’s a little lifestyle brand that allows you to see the greatness in you. I’m a youth advocate and also a single mother. I started getting more into acting and also modeling! Also, on Monday’s I have my little inspirational talk. It’s called ‘Kris Talks,’ just dropping some jewels to everyone! Let’s do it! (That’s my motto) lol.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Consistency and Prayer the number one strategy for me.
