How do you serve special needs and elderly people?

Residential Care Services take pride in participating in various adult programs serving the special needs and elderly population.

Personal Care Alternative (PCA) Program:

The PCA program allows clients to live in a residential home setting with up to 3 residents and rotating staff members. Residents gain the opportunity to live in house-mate typesetting with staff supervision.

Colorado Choice Transitions (CCT) Program:

The CCT program serves eligible Medicaid residents by transitioning them from nursing homes or long term care (LTC) facilities into the community using available home and community-based (HCBS) services and supports.

Host Home Program:

The Host Home program gives individuals with special developmental needs the opportunity to live in a private family-style residential setting with a qualified single or coupled host home provider. This residential setting can be very unique as some homes offer pets and children to accompany the resident’s comfort-levels and wishes.

Apartment Program:

Our apartment program allows residents to live independently to do so with adequate weekly staff supervision per their individual service plans.

What are the strategies that make you successful?

I use the family model. We treat our clients as an extension of our own family.
