Elevate Your Puzzle Time: Dive into Murphy Adkins’s ‘Interactive Word Search: Puzzles with Fun Facts, Trivia & Challenges for Adults’

A Unique Word Search Journey

Readers who enjoy puzzles will find a fresh, vibrant challenge in Murphy Adkins’s “Interactive Word Search: Puzzles with Fun Facts, Trivia & Challenges for Adults.” This big, user-friendly book contains 112 puzzles—each brimming with exciting themes and intriguing words. The format is designed so everyone can jump right in and begin solving, and there’s an uplifting tone in every corner of its pages. The puzzles aren’t just entertaining…they’re a joyful mental workout that encourages curiosity and exploration. There are 2,576 unique words waiting to be uncovered. No word is repeated, which means each puzzle holds its own surprises.

Adkins’s approach speaks to those who want brain-teasers that do more than pass the time. Every puzzle in Interactive Word Search is paired with a special note, fact, quote, trivia tidbit, challenge, or question, so it feels like a mini adventure. It’s not just about circling words—it’s about discovering something new every time. Readers can take a moment to reflect on a fun fact, get inspired by a quote, or test their knowledge with a trivia prompt. This interactive structure keeps the experience lively and engaging. Some days, a solver might focus on the theme and breeze through the grid; other days, they might read the extra snippet and learn a surprising fact that sticks with them.

Packed with Surprises

One of the standout features is the true large print (16pt). This detail shows how carefully Adkins has planned each page. Every letter is crisp, so it’s easy on the eyes. The book’s format—one puzzle per page—prevents clutter and helps solvers concentrate fully on finding words. Even the solutions, conveniently located at the back, are printed in large text for hassle-free checking.

Beyond the clarity of the pages, each puzzle is organized around a specific theme. Readers might explore topics related to food, nature, history, or even pop culture. After finishing one puzzle, they’ll discover a brief snippet of fun info tied to that puzzle’s theme. This bonus material sparks curiosity and adds layers of enjoyment. Instead of flipping past an answer key and calling it a day, puzzle lovers can read something that might make them think, “Wow…I never knew that!”

In a world where many word search books feel repetitive, “Interactive Word Search” stands out with an impressive word list—2,576 distinct entries scattered across 112 puzzles. The variety is energizing, and it keeps solvers on their toes because they won’t stumble across the same words over and over. Everything has been manually verified, ensuring that puzzles and solutions align perfectly.

Crafted by Murphy Adkins

Murphy Adkins has spent time and effort creating puzzle books that blend entertainment with education. He’s developed a system that pairs challenging words with interesting trivia. These aren’t just empty grids. They’re creative prompts that encourage readers to pause and appreciate something new. He’s meticulous about details. Each puzzle page is checked for accuracy, and words are chosen with care. When people pick up one of his books, they can expect a polished, well-structured experience that rewards both the casual solver and the dedicated puzzle enthusiast.

His dedication shows in the design and layout. The large format—measuring 8.5″ x 11.68″—offers plenty of space to write and circle words. The 146-page volume includes three pages for notes, inviting readers to jot down new words they’ve discovered or reflect on interesting trivia. Adkins wants readers to do more than solve puzzles; he wants them to connect with the material. Maybe they’ll note something they want to research further…or record a piece of trivia that sparked their curiosity.

It’s clear he wants people to have fun while staying mentally sharp. He doesn’t rely on typical puzzle norms. Instead, he delivers a puzzle experience that keeps giving back—even after the final word is found. That’s what makes this book a standout choice for puzzle fans who crave something beyond standard word searches.

We had the privilege of interviewing the author. Here are excerpts from the interview.

Hi, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about yourself with our readers.

Hey! I’m Mo Hesham from Egypt, and my life has been quite an adventure. I’ve spent years working in mechanical design and CNC programming, but on the side, I’ve always been experimenting—trying my hand at website building, logo design, video editing, CNC machine maintenance, and more to make enough money to achieve a dream of mine.

My true passion? Building a real-life custom Batmobile. It’s been my dream for over a decade, and I’ve worked tirelessly to fund it. The problem? No matter how hard I worked, I could never make enough money or find enough time to actually build it.

So, five months ago, I made a crazy decision—I quit my job to focus on creating passive income. That’s when I discovered Amazon KDP, and now, I’m all in, trying to publish books that people love while working toward my ultimate goal.

Please tell us about your book.

Funny enough, I actually started by writing a novel. But after a month, I realized it would take at least six months to finish, and right now, I don’t have the luxury of waiting that long.

So, I went back to research and found that word search books are in demand all year round. People love them, and some books generate great passive income. But when I looked at reviews, I saw the same complaints over and over:

• Many repeated words

• Spelling mistakes

• Small letters that are hard to read

That’s when I knew I had to do something different. I spent the last three months perfecting my book—ensuring fresh, unique words, zero spelling errors, and a true large print format. But I didn’t stop there. I also added trivia, fun facts, and challenges to make it more than just another word search book. I wanted it to be fun, engaging, and something people would actually enjoy from start to finish.

Please share your journey with our readers.

Man, where do I even start?

For the past 10 years, I’ve been chasing my dream of building a custom Batmobile. I worked hard, saved money, bought parts, designed components, and spent countless hours making it happen. But in the end, no matter how much I tried, my salary was never enough—especially because many of the parts had to be imported, which made the costs skyrocket.

I was working crazy hours at my father’s factory—sometimes up to 22 hours straight—and it just hit me: I’d never have enough time or money to make this dream a reality if I kept doing this.

So, I quit.

My dad didn’t take it well at first. He even tripled my salary to convince me to stay, but by then, I already knew the truth—no job in my country, no matter how high the salary, would give me the freedom and resources I needed to go all in for my dream.

I tried to start an Etsy store, but it turns out you can’t even create an account from Egypt. That’s when I found Amazon KDP. I took every last bit of my savings, bought subscriptions, studied the market, and poured everything into making a high-quality book.

To fund my first marketing campaign (including this one!), I even sold some of my personal belongings.

This isn’t just about selling a book. It’s about building a future—one where I can finally work on my dream without worrying about money or time.

What are the strategies that helped you succeed in your journey?

Honestly? I’m not successful yet. Even though I was the best in my field at the factory and among the best in my country, in my mind, I wouldn’t consider myself successful until I achieved my dream.

But if the question is what keeps me going and prevents me from giving up, I’d say it’s a mix of determination, learning from failures (a lot of them, actually), and refusing to settle.

Here’s what helped me specifically in this book:

Market Research – I didn’t just jump in blindly. I studied successful books, read reviews, and identified gaps in the market.

Attention to Detail – No repeated words. No spelling mistakes. Just a well-thought-out, high-quality book.

Adding Value – I didn’t want my book to be just another word search. I made it interactive and fun with trivia, challenges, and facts.

Using Past Skills – Some of the side hustles I tried turned out to be useful in making my book look professional.

Taking Risks – Quitting a stable job, investing all my savings, and betting on myself wasn’t easy. But sometimes, the biggest risks lead to the biggest rewards. I really hope this is one of those times.

Any message for our readers?

If you’ve got a dream, chase it like your life depends on it. Because honestly? It does.

I wasted years thinking I could balance my dream with a 9-to-5 (or, in my case, more like 9-to-1). The truth is that real change only happens when you’re willing to take big risks. It’s scary, it’s unpredictable, and yeah, you’ll probably fail a few times—but that’s the price of building something meaningful.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
