We had the privilege of interviewing the Music Artist. Here are excerpts from the interview:

Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.

I am Jordan Bernard Emmanuel Burns, from Screven County, aka Scrilla. I am a vibey and melodizing artist. My secondary genre is country, as I’m planning to release country songs next year. I’m currently in school at Full Sail, studying music engineering.

Please tell us about your Latest Single.

My latest single, Death Sentence, has officially started my artist journey, after years of only my friends knowing I was rapping. Being from a small city, it was hard to get much support when nobody knew I was rapping. So, my goal is to build a fanbase and at least get them to click on my song, because I know talent-wise I have it.

Please tell us about your journey.

My journey has been a huge roller coaster as I am prepping for my album release, Dark Place of Living, which has various songs from 2019 to 2024.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

My best strategy to help me become successful has been researching and keeping on sound. Now, I just have to figure out the marketing side to get people to click on the song.

Any message for our readers

My message to readers is to click on my song. I’d rather get negative feedback, and you think the song is trash than for you to not even try it out. I know every rapper says they’re good and different, but I’m one that means it. Also, my message to naysayers is: I’m coming regardless, the cloud is already on the way. You can’t hold out on me for too long.
