Demetria Devonne Lovato was born to former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Diana de la Garza and engineer and musician Patrick Lovato. Her sister, Madison De La Garza, is also an actress.

Professional Life

Demi Lovato made their professional debut in Barney & Friends in 2002, alongside Selena Gomez. The artist was cast as Mitchie Torres in Camp Rock in 2008 and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam in 2010.
