But on the hallways, Mac discovers one particular pupil who is not being especially kind to a classmate of his. Will Mac the Magnificent Mouse be able to solve this conflict and fix the relationship? Perhaps this time the amazing character needs a little help, someone else to join him on his adventure?
Mac the Magnificent Mouse is an appealing character for young readers, and he faces troubles that are sure to be relatable to the kids. In this case, the author chose the issue of bullying to tackle it through the book. This is a significant problem that begins in schools and might hound some kids throughout. Dr. Ann Rhodes is a teacher and an author. She started writing when she was only eight and hasn’t stopped since. Rhodes published her first book, a collection of poetry and essays titled From the Beginning Until Now, in 2016. It deals with spirituality and inspiration. Her second book was also a collection of poems and ideas focused on relationships, and it was titled A Sight to Behold.
Mac the Magnificent Mouse series features charming illustrations by Nolan Moore, who has worked on many books. The stories offer an educational and entertaining experience for students entering school and growing their ability to behave. Hi Dr. Ann, Great to have you with us today! Please share with our readers about yourself.
Hi, I am a teacher, and I am a self-published author. I began writing at the age of 8 years, and I truly discovered my gift in my 6th-grade language arts class. The inspiration of my mother and my language arts teachers really encouraged me to pursue my gift of writing. My poems have been published in the school newspaper, the local newspaper, and a poetry anthology. In 2016, my first poetry book was published, “From the Beginning until Now.” Then, I had another poetry book published, “A Sight to Behold.” After publishing my poetry books, I had the opportunity to publish two devotional books. I am currently an elementary teacher in Georgia, and after teaching 2nd grade, I decided to start my journey of writing children’s books. During the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, I began a children’s book series titled: Mac the Magnificent Mouse.
Please tell us more about your book series, Mac the Magnificent Mouse.
Mac the Magnificent Mouse children’s book series promotes positive behavior so that children know what good expectations to follow in school. The first book, Mac the Magnificent Mouse: Follows Directions, is a book that focuses on how important it is to follow directions in school. The second book, Mac the Magnificent Mouse: Shows Responsibility, helps students accept responsibility for the different things they do. The third book in the series, Mac the Magnificent Mouse: Resolves Bullying, teaches students that it is normal to be different, but everyone is unique in their special way. Everyone should be treated equally.
I research different ideas for my children’s book stories daily and receive input from my students on what to write about next.
