Hi, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about your book with our readers.
‘Through Darkness They Will Come‘ is going to be a 3-part series where the main character, Wren, is sent through huge challenges and difficult decisions. As a fantasy fiction novel and series, each Book has a twist and is all together in the underlying plot that is kind of evident in the first Book and is going to roll into the next 2.
Please tell us about your journey.
Currently, I have published my second Book, ‘Through Darkness They Will Come‘, and I can’t wait for you all to read it. The first Book I wrote was more of a test; it was a small 60-page book called Trapped, and it was to determine how KDP works and how self-publishing as a whole works. For those of you who don’t know if you’re hung up for not writing your own Book because you didn’t want to deal with having to find a publisher, well, I’m here to tell you: self-publishing is pretty easy. There are pitfalls and things you need to look out for when self-publishing, but nothing that you can’t get across if you take your time and do it right.
I started writing back in grade school and continued to write short stories and a lot of poetry. Most of that has been lost to time because it was all on single sheets of paper that I randomly wrote on and then shoved in a book bag or notebook, which later got either thrown away or thrown in a box in a closet somewhere.
The point is I had a pretty big passion for writing from an early age; now, whether or not it was any good is up for debate, and only you, the reader, can determine if you like or dislike my work. This pushed me into AOL chat rooms where we would pencil and paper RPG, where you write out every detail of what you are doing, and you and a group of strangers talk and interact with each other in a world that you all build in your imagination no pictures no video just words on paper.
This later transformed into what used to be called message boards where sub-threads with different worlds or places or whatever you wanted to make up and create on paper, which allowed for a more leisurely way to play because it gave people time to read and respond,
A long time ago, I had one myself called Seeds of Theory. Long story short, it has always been a passion of mine to write a book. So, I did, and I kept writing and am currently working on my third book. Currently, Through Darkness They Will Come is going to be a 3-part series where Wren, our main character, will travel across worlds and find out things about himself he didn’t know and do things that are unimaginable. Join me on this road to writing. We will discuss this book more in-depth over the coming months, and I am working on a podcast that will give a deeper dive into the way I constructed this story.
