Preparing for a big test—whether it’s a school exam, a driving test, or even a job interview—can stir up anxiety, doubt, and nervous energy. For many, the brain may be ready, but nerves often get the better of us. Nadia Camit Upton’s Manifest Your Test: 30-Day Mindset Journal offers a refreshing, hands-on approach to calm your nerves and center your mind before the big day. This 30-day journal doesn’t just serve as a tool for students—it’s a resource for anyone facing a high-stakes challenge. And it’s not about memorizing facts; it’s about preparing your mindset for success.
The Power of Journaling for Mental Clarity
Journaling has long been recognized as a therapeutic way to express feelings and manage stress. For Nadia Upton, journaling was a personal lifesaver during the pandemic when her daughter experienced anxiety that interfered with her learning. The journal became more than just a coping mechanism; it became a tool for self-empowerment. Upton turned her inspiration into the Manifest Your Test journal, designed specifically to tackle test anxiety head-on.
Each page of the journal is carefully crafted with exercises that encourage relaxation, reflection, and focus. The idea is simple: give yourself permission to slow down and engage with your emotions. Rather than feeling overwhelmed by the looming test, you’re given a moment each day to reset. Activities like drawing, coloring, and writing help distract the mind from anxiety, offering a chance to refocus your thoughts.

A Creative, Engaging Way to Stay Calm
What sets this journal apart from other exam preparation tools is its creative, interactive format. The 30-day plan is more than just a daily reminder to study. It’s designed to guide you through engaging activities that connect you with your inner self and boost your confidence.
For instance, one day’s task might ask you to draw a trophy with your name on it—visualizing success can be incredibly powerful. On another day, you might write a love letter to yourself, reminding you of your strength and progress. Affirmations like “I am proud of the progress I made so far” are sprinkled throughout to keep you grounded in positivity. And the beautiful, full-color design of the journal makes the experience feel less like a chore and more like a personal escape, inviting you to take a few minutes for yourself.
What’s special about this journal is how it encourages you to reflect not just on the material you’re studying but on your overall mindset. It’s about believing in yourself—taking a step back, breathing, and shifting your focus to what you can control. As Walt Disney wisely said, “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” This mindset shift from worry to action is essential for any test-taker.

A Tool for All Ages: From Students to Professionals
While Manifest Your Test is an excellent tool for students facing exams, it’s not limited to just them. Nadia Upton’s own experiences show just how versatile this tool can be. When her daughter used the journal, she not only managed her test anxiety but also gained a remarkable achievement—being offered membership in the British Mensa High IQ society, scoring 158 on her IQ test, three points higher than Elon Musk!
The journal isn’t just for children; adults can benefit too. Whether you’re preparing for a driving theory test, a job interview, or any high-pressure situation, the tools within the journal can help you develop a calm, confident mindset. It serves as a reminder that test preparation isn’t solely about the facts you can memorize; it’s about how you manage your nerves, your thoughts, and your emotions. By using the journal’s exercises, adults can also embrace the power of positive thinking and emotional resilience.
The Perfect Gift for Anyone in Need of Support
In today’s world, with so many distractions (especially those enticing iPads), Upton deliberately designed Manifest Your Test as a paperback edition. The idea was to encourage people to go back to the tried-and-true methods of writing and reflection. The act of physically journaling—pen to paper—adds an element of mindfulness that’s often lost in the digital age.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful and practical gift, Manifest Your Test is a fantastic choice. Whether it’s for your child, a friend, or even yourself, the journal offers a meaningful way to cope with the stresses of any important test. It’s not just a journal; it’s a personal companion to help you find peace and focus amidst the chaos of exam preparation. With just 30 days of small, daily commitments, you can shift your mindset and face your big day with clarity and confidence.

A Simple Solution for Test Anxiety
Manifest Your Test is a simple yet profound tool that shows how small, daily rituals of self-care can pave the way for greater success. Through creativity, reflection, and affirmation, this 30-day mindset journal equips you with everything you need to face your biggest challenges with a calm, clear, and focused mind. Whether you’re a student, a professional, or anyone in need of a confidence boost before a big event, this journal offers a calming path toward your ultimate goal.
The journal isn’t just about what you do on the day of the test—it’s about preparing yourself for it every day leading up to it. If you’re ready to make stress a thing of the past, give yourself the gift of calm with Manifest Your Test—you’ve got this!
We had the privilege of interviewing the author. Here are excerpts from the interview:
Hi, Thank you so much for joining us today! Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
Hi, I’m Nadia Upton, a piano teacher, writer, and mental health advocate. I have first-hand experience with how poor mental health can affect a child’s learning.
Please tell us about your book.
During the pandemic, my daughter experienced anxiety, and I searched high and low for solutions. I came across an article on how journaling can help alleviate anxiety. This became my inspiration for this book, Manifest Your Test. I am very much aware of today’s generation’s addiction to iPads, so I deliberately did a paperback edition to encourage them to go back to good old pen and paper. The pages are beautiful enough- in full color to encourage them to write.
Journaling was so helpful to her that recently, she was offered a membership in the British Mensa High IQ Society, having gained an IQ of 158. Three notches higher than Elon Musk! I feel how frustrating it is for some parents and educators to manage anxiety during exams- this is an easy, convenient aid accessible to anyone. Recently, my daughter went through her Grade 5 Piano exam and aced it as well with a distinction using this tool.
Any message for our readers?
This is something that adults can use as well- for job interview exams, driving theory tests, etc. I really am hoping to share this simple tool with everyone. It is my contribution to society.
Thank you so much, Nadia, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
