Hi, Great to have you with us today! What inspired you to write the book, The Schloss von Seidl Festival Feast Menu: A Short Story and Recipes.

Hi, I enjoy cooking food for people who like to eat, and I wrote this book because it makes me feel good to share my recipes with others who also love to cook. This book was designed for a small but elaborate festival called the Bavarian Festival of the Fifteen Gifts or Blessings. It is a festival of glad tidings and good wishes and is held on the 23rd of December each year. In German, it is called Das Fest der Fünfzehn Gaben – The Festival of the Fifteen Gifts. In Bavarian, it goes by two names Festl von de Fünfzehn Segn” or “Festl von de Fünfzehn Gschenk” (where “Segn” means blessings and “Gschenk” means gifts). The fifteen-course meal represents each gift wished upon anyone partaking in the feast.

My strategy thus far has been to write the book by creating the recipes, writing the short story and the recipes, creating the artwork, and publishing the Ebook.
