Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Taylor Lewis, Creator of Designs By MOT. She helps entrepreneurs design their website and bring their ideas and unique personalities to the digital life.
Hi, please tell us about your journey.
I created my first website for my personal finance blog many years ago. Through the process of creating it and driving traffic to it, I found that I loved websites and design. I took many classes, read many books, and watched many videos to get my design game up. I launched a web design business on Fiverr a couple of years later that built custom websites for clients. Through that business, I found that not everyone needed a custom website when they were first starting and strapped for cash. I knew I could not afford a custom website then and wish I would have found a super easy template to get my finance blog up and running quickly. However, I could not find one that was simple and inexpensive at the time. I started to build the templates as a hobby, and my clients ended up loving them and sharing them with their friends. Slowly I opened the pre-built websites to the public and have been expanding ever since!

My company is a WordPress website design company. We provide the easiest pre-built WordPress websites for business owners to implement.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
The strategies that have helped me through my journey are continual learning and completing morning rituals. Every morning I do the same thing at the same time to keep myself on track and feeling productive from the moment I wake up. Every day my number one goal is to learn something new, whether that comes from a course, book, video, or article. Always be learning!
