We had the pleasure of interviewing Dinara Khairova. Here are excerpts from the Interview.
Hi Dinara, Great to have you with us today. Please tell us about what it is that you do.
I am a photographer from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Started photography with film cameras, mostly as a travel photographer.
Please tell us about your journey.
My photographic journey is directly related to music because I am a professional musician. When I am on stage, I am a model for photographers, but as soon as I return to my normal life off stage, I always want to be on the other side of the lens.
I see life through the prism of goodness and beauty, and this I always try to show in my works.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
First of all, I believe in myself and my talent. But the main thing is to help your talent by everyday practice and learning. I always take responsibility for the result of photo shooting. I prepare for it both ways – mentally and technically. It is very close to working on stage. And even as a photographer, I prefer to think about myself as a rockstar on stage; this helps me to stay in the right mood for creating.
