Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Priyasha Sarmah, Founder of Ardour Acadame.
She has been educating and teaching people English for more than 3 years. With a passion for starting an online business and having done intensive research on the need for business English, she set out on a mission to teach people business English. She firmly believes that passion, consistency, and hard work is the key to success.
Great to have you with us today! Please tell us about yourself.
I am an Engineering graduate. My primary interest is in the field of education and entrepreneurship.
Please tell us more about your journey.
I was born in Guwahati, the capital city of Assam in India. I did my schooling at a reputed school, Holy Child School in Guwahati. I then pursued my engineering from one of the most reputed universities in India, KIIT also called as Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
I started working for a reputed MNC but always wanted more than just a 9-6 job. I loved my job and my co-workers. I wanted more out of life. Life for me was more than just that. I wanted my life to be adventurous instead of just sticking to a fixed routine and be happy with what I was doing. I have always used to look up to all the female entrepreneurs since a young age and wish I could become like them one day. I wanted something big for me and my life. So I decided to start my own online academy as a side hustle. Initially, there were a lot of challenges since I started it all by myself at a very young age. Still, with time and experience, I was finally able to tackle all the challenges and moved ahead bit by bit.
Please tell us about your company, Ardour Acadame.
Ardour Acadame, my company, was founded in 2020 with a very simple aim; to teach people Business English and help them pursue careers with Business English, both online and offline. And help people gain financial freedom. Simple as that! My academy was started during the pandemic when online business was booming.
“I always wanted something like this,” I thought! So gathering the courage and determination to do so, I finally started Ardour Acadame.
What are your future plans for your company?
For my future plans, I would say the sky is the limit. I want to make my online academy famous worldwide and leave behind a legacy. I want people to know about it as a famous brand in every part of the world, helping and motivating people to achieve their dreams and achieve financial freedom, even while working online.
