Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Yvette M. Whitton. She is the owner and CEO of an integrative Medical Practice specializing in chronic disease and integrative cancer care. She is a Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, as well as an I-ACT certified Colon Hydrotherapist.
Please introduce yourself and tell us about what it is that you do.
I have received certification in Nutritional Enzyme Therapy via the Gerson Institute as well as certification in Ozone therapy and Mistletoe Therapy. I am a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
Please tell us more about your journey.
Although I completed a preceptorship program at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America and became an active member of the Society of Integrative Oncology in 2006. my Journey began in 2012 after learning of my Mothers diagnosis of Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer. Intuitively, this was documented on my journal’s pages, where I wrote the following:
“This is not just my Mother’s journey; it is also Mine!”
Since then, my research into integrative cancer care has taken me to alternative treatment centers in Mexico and Germany. I believe that the study of Integrative Oncology is a lifetime commitment as research continues to reveal exciting and promising treatment options, particularly those that are the least toxic. This is extremely thrilling for me as far too many patients succumb to the cancer treatment rather than the disease itself.
