Hi, Great to have you with us today! Please tell us about what it is that you do.
I am the Owner of P&J Printing & Publishing, Inc. We are “Home of the black business guides.” Currently printing Tulsa Black-Owned Business Guide (TBOBG) and Tulsa Urban Beauty Guide (TUBG) magazines. We offer print services and book publishing. I am a serial entrepreneur with businesses in the lawn, trucking, and jewelry industry.
I am also an author, publisher, teacher, wife, mom, and NANA!
Please tell us more about your journey.
We are EXCITED about the upcoming edition of TBOBG highlighting black-owned businesses in Tulsa and shinning the spotlight on Black Wall Street as we recognize the 100 Year Anniversary of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The May/June 2021 edition will be a keepsake magazine for years to come.
TBOBG was first published on March 6, 2020. Each magazine featured a local black business owner. We then launched, published, and printed the Oklahoma City Black-Owned Business Guide and since have published Tulsa Urban Beauty Guide, Tulsa Urban Cannabis Guide, Black In Business Guide, and Oklahoma Worldwide Trucking Guide.
We are EXPANDING our brand to reach worldwide, creating black-business guides in major Urban cities across the United States. We will begin accepting applications for new franchise partners beginning July 1, 2021.

P&J Printing & Publishing, Inc. has partnered with a few AMAZING organizations, including the National Black Business Network, Oklahoma Black Business Network, Tulsa Black Owned Business Network, Glammed by Chiku’, and Permits and Process Agents to offer affordable opportunities for businesses owners in the media space.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Reminding myself that I was created for a reason and the desires that I have to help others are not by accident. Grooming me for service to others by my grandmother was by design.
