Today, we are interviewing SherryShurish Henderson, a published author of a book entitled How To Return To Greatness.
How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey?
I am a person who is really interested in learning After acquiring so much Information on African-American studies I needed to clear my brain so I could absorb more information, so I started writing everything I learned upon reading it to my husband he said it sounded like a book and that was the beginning.
Who are your role models?
Malcolm X. Assata Shakur Angela Davis Fred Hampton Huey P Newton Tupac Shakur Maya Angelou just to name a few.
What inspires you?
My daughter, uplifting people of color, peace, love, and authenticity.
Please tell us about your book.
My book centers around the encouragement of people of color around the globe, a reminder of the power we possess, a reminder of who we are where we are from, and what we should stand for. And, how we can return to greatness through self-accountability, self-reliance, and self-love.
What’s your most memorable experience?
Giving birth to my daughter.

Facebook and Instagram work the best, I place Ads.
What’s your greatest fear?
Dying with a bunch of regrets.
Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?
Having a dream is easy but having the balls to go after it, and bring it to fruition takes a whole lot of GUTS.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Understanding nobody is going to believe in my dreams or me if I don’t believe in myself.
What keeps you going when things get tough?
Remembering failure and defeat are only temporary circumstances and you have only failed when you have given up.

You never know what other people encounter in their daily lives, so be nice; it takes nothing to be kind to people, but it takes a whole lot of energy to be a butt hole.
