Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Dayuana Turner, an Author, Entrepreneur, Educator and Owner of Priceless Hands Publications.
Hi, Great to have you with us today! Please tell us about what it is that you do.
I’ve worked as an educator for close to sixteen years and just recently decided to start on the path of entrepreneurship.
Please tell us more about your journey.
I’ve had a passion for fictional novels since middle school and started my own writing project at 13 years of age. I published my first book in December 2019, a nonfiction book based on my life titled ‘Too Many Husbands.’
In May of 2020, I published my first fictional novel titled ‘When Tables Turn.’ Both books received great reviews, and I am proud to release my latest masterpiece, ‘The Saddler Tree.’
Please tell us about your latest book, The Saddler Tree.
‘The Saddler Tree’ is a story of a black family’s encounter with chaos and everyday struggles while trying to escape living in the hood.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
I’ve learned that it requires a great deal of dedication and consistency to succeed on this journey.
