Rendezvous with Amber Drake who specializes in holistic remedies for canine cancer.

Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Author Amber Drake. She specializes in holistic remedies for canine cancer. I have earned two doctorates; one in Education and another in Naturopathic Medicine. 

Can you please tell us about your journey?

My journey began when my dog, Paws, was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Since then, I have had a keen interest in helping dogs, and their families discover new treatment methods. Particularly methods of treatment that would primarily target the cancer cells while leaving the healthy cells strong to fight the condition. I have written several books published with Barnes & Noble regarding canine cancer, nutrition, and behavior.

I have also recently launched a holistic product line to assist families with extending their dog’s lifespan utilizing a ‘natural way of living.’ 

Please tell us about your companies.

I am the CEO/Founder of several companies, including The Holistic Canine, Drake Canine Cancer Foundation, and Canine Companions.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

The main factor that has influenced my success is my family. They have provided me with the inspiration to get where I am today. I have two little boys who are my entire world and, even on the difficult days, they have been my motivation to continue pushing through. I am still not where I want to be, but that’s part of the ride of entrepreneurship. A successful businessman or businesswoman continues to strive for continued success. There is not an ‘end,’ there is continued success day in and day out.

For those aspiring to become an Entrepreneur, whether in this field or otherwise, I understand it’s difficult, and there will be many pressing days and nights, but as long as you follow your passion, everything will fall into place.
