Hi, please tell us about your journey.

My journey as a writer started sometime in high school, close to twenty years ago, where I first came up with the concept for my books. I’m still on that journey though I’ve switched vehicles a couple of times. Riding on the plane was the most fun I had thus far throughout this journey.

Please tell us about your story.

I’ve been writing for as long as I could spell. So, like 3 years, I think? Kidding. As stated before, I developed an interest, not necessarily in writing, but in storytelling sometime when I first conceptualized the characters for what is now the Tactile Therapy novel series. What only existed in crude sketches one day blossomed into words when I wrote an entire treatment for a movie idea I had, one night in my bedroom years ago. From there, that idea evolved into the Tactile Therapy story.

In case you have no clue as to what that story is about, it centers around a “woman” and a “hero” desperately trying to maintain their way of life even though the world is changing all around them. So, pretty much all of our story. Yay, for relatability!

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

One of the strategies I’ve employed on my quest for success was finding creative ways not to give up. Like trying to imagine a world where a story you know humanity needs doesn’t exist simply because you’re a quitter. Can you imagine living on such a planet? Well, I almost did. Highly recommended. Another one was jotting down all the demands the voices in my head shouted at me. They said after seven more books, they’ll shut the eff up forever.

Fantastic! So tell us, how can people find out more about you?

In this day and age, authors are not allowed to not have a social media account. To all you people who like to turn negatives into positives, that double negative means you can positively find me on Instagram @tactiletherapy, and if you’re not on the gram, stalk me on Facebook. I haven’t used Twitter in years, but someone recently told me somebody’s been tweeting from my account. That handle is @Unself.

You can also visit my Amazon author page, Goodreads author page, simply through email if you feel so inclined – unself7@gmail.com.
