Today, we had the pleasure of interviewing Joel Poe, a talented singer, writer, and actor who embarked on his musical and dramatic journey at a young age. At just 13 years old, he gained admission to the esteemed Royal Conservatory of Madrid, where he honed his skills in Music and Drama. Building upon his foundation, Joel further pursued his passion for Musical Theater and Acting at Indiana University Bloomington, where he garnered recognition and accolades such as the prestigious ‘Premier Young Artist,’ ‘Faculty Award,’ and ‘Founder Scholars Award.’

Hi Joel, Great to have you with us today! Please tell us about your book ‘Skyborne Hearts‘
Hi, ‘Skyborne Hearts‘ is an epic journey set in a world where steam and gears are at the forefront of civilization. It’s a compelling mix of steampunk, dystopian romance, and high-stakes adventure, all centered around the quest to uncover a lost civilization.
The idea for “Skyborne Hearts” came from my love for the steampunk genre. I’ve always been intrigued by the aesthetic, the blend of historical and speculative elements, and the potential for creating rich, complex worlds. I wanted to write a story that combined all these aspects while adding a layer of romance and a hint of dystopia.
Please tell us about your journey.
My journey into the world of writing has been a life-long affair. Ever since I was young, I’ve been captivated by stories, particularly ones that transport you into entirely different worlds, brimming with mystery, adventure, and romance.
