Author Brian Will is a serial entrepreneur who has created or co-created six very successful companies in four different industries over the last thirty-five years.
Brian Will was a kid who was basically expelled from high school before graduating with a 1.2-grade point average. He was kicked out of his home at 18. He dropped out of college after one year. He was married at 21, and the only jobs he could hold were that of a busboy and a landscape helper. Since then, he has become a serial entrepreneur. Over the last 35 years, he has founded or co-founded six different, very successful companies in four different industries. These include a franchised landscaping company, three startups in the insurance industry, as well as an internet marketing company, and currently own a chain of restaurants in the Atlanta area. At their peak, five of those companies were worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Three companies were sold to venture capital and private equity groups, and out of those three, one of those went public. He has also consulted for multiple companies, from small businesses to multi-billion dollar private and public companies in the areas of sales and management.
Brian owns a growing chain of restaurants in the Atlanta area while he splits his time between the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, and Clearwater Beach, Florida.
He is also the very proud father of two adult children.
Having traveled to 25+ countries around the world, Brian considers himself a world-traveler, adventure seeker, and an adrenaline junkie. Still, he will always be a sucker for a McDonald’s coke and some fries.
Brian is also a pilot, a divemaster, has climbed four of the 14ers in Colorado as well as Mt. Fuji in Japan. Some of the other highlights include swimming from Alcatraz Island back to San Francisco during the annual Sharkfest swim, toured the wine country in Stellenbosch, South Africa, by helicopter, and is scheduled to go into space in 2024.
Today, Brian does consulting for entrepreneurs looking to start or scale their business, or learn to operate it hands-off, or even get it ready to sell.
He is the author of the book, The Dropout Multi-Millionaire: 37 Business Lessons on How to Succeed in Business With No Money, No Education and No Clue.

Please tell us about your book, The Dropout Multi-Millionaire: 37 Business Lessons on How to Succeed in Business With No Money, No Education and No Clue.
Businesses fail for a lot of reasons. However, the biggest one is the owner’s lack of understanding of their personal decision-making skills, who they are, or who they should be inside their organization.
This book is an overview of hard-learned lessons over 35 years. It’s a blueprint for overcoming failures and accomplishing those goals if that is what you are striving for. The point of this book is that it doesn’t take a head start to succeed. It doesn’t take education. It doesn’t take money, and you literally don’t even need to know what you are doing to start. You can lack all of these things and go onto be super successful and build a life most people only dream about.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Success in business starts inside your head. It is all about you. It’s your critical thinking skills that will make or break you. It’s your personal success or failure filter that will propel you forward. Or have you stuck in failure after failure? Your personal filter is the first step to success.
The second step is figuring out who you are. Are you an Entrepreneur, Manager, Salesperson, or Technician? Most people that start a business think they are an entrepreneur, but most aren’t, in fact, most of them aren’t even a business owner in the sense that they think they are.
Step two is being honest about who you are, what you have, and where you’re going. Once you get these two things straight, it’s time to get your business going to the next level.
