1. How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey

I woke up one day and decided to be a DJ. I told my lovely mum Mrs. Jennifer Manteaw that l wanted to be a DJ; she got angry and said NO. My lovely dad traveled that time, so when he came back, and my mum told my dad l said l wanted to be a DJ, my dad too was not in support because he said DJs are not meant for girls. I thank God my grandma was there to put pressure on my dad and mum to see reasons with me. I also kept pushing them and quoted them children’s rights articles, especially article 3: ‘Best interest of the child.’ And, one day, my parents said YES to me. My mum’s friend’s husband is a DJ, so my mum called him (DJ Marcus) and asked him if he could train me, and he was happy to train me. I trained with him for 4months. From there, my lovely dad decided to enroll me in a DJing Academy at Subbass Electronic and Music at Westminster. I trained there for one day. My lovely dad decided to enroll me at London Sounds Academy, where l trained for almost a year. I am recently having my DJing lessons at On The Rise Academy with Terry, where I am learning different skills.
