AZA the Messenger inducts Positivity in Life with enthralling Jazz Vibes in his latest album Go Slowly!

Multi-instrumentalist AZA the Messenger has recently released his five-track album called Go Slowly. This song is motivational, and the relaxed tempo makes you feel instantly energized. It has got all the undulating vibes that the people have grown so fond of. All the tracks of EP have attracted the attention of music lovers and a considerable amount of appreciation from jazz and soul lovers. The calm rhythm of the lyrics also reflects the go-with-the-flow vibe.

AZA

AZA is a naturally gifted musician along with numerous academic achievements. AZA likes to be known as the first-generation American multi-instrumentalist of African origin. He is mainly indulged in the music of deep-rooted African Diaspora. His style is also massively influenced by mixed genres like reggae, blues, soul, and jazz. It is interesting to know that he has also studied Gospel and Jazz formally. He was given the MIT’s Emerson Scholarship at the Berklee College of Music. 

He has performed at venues such as Jazz at the Lincoln Center, Arts at the Armory, Regattabar, and The Middle East and has released multiple projects of his original music. He is the co-founder of Renaissance Entertainment, LLC a company aimed at combining music, science, and community building to create a more conscious and empathic culture.

AZA studied in the MD/PhD program at Harvard Medical School. He finished his PhD in Neuroscience at MIT in 2016 and his MD in 2019. He received his B.S. in Biology from North Carolina Central University where he also received minors in Philosophy and Jazz studies for piano and vocal performance. He practices and teaches meditation and mindfulness and is currently a resident physician in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University where he leads The AZA Lab.
