Hi, Great to have you with us today! Please tell us about what it is that you do.
I’m an independent musician and owner of label 079Cartel Entertainment. I am also an apparel store owner – Popular Lonerz Apparel.
Please tell us more about your journey.
I was in prison for 24 years, from the age of 14 years old until the age of 38. I’m from Chicago. I was adopted at the age of 28 while in prison. I educated myself while being held in solitary confinement for 14 years.
Please tell us about your song, Masquerades.
The song Masquerades is about love and the struggle of maintaining what we create in a relationship.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Believing in myself and my music, that’s what got me here, and I encourage everyone to believe in themselves and their journey.
