Join an exciting musical journey with Steffan Rundquist’s latest release ‘Love me Tonight’.

Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Steffan Rundquist, a singer and songwriter.

Hi Steffan, Great to have you with us today! Please tell us about what it is that you do.

I’m a Singer-songwriter and music producer. I’m from Sweden, a village called Rydebäck. I started in a local punk band SVETTENS SONER in Sweden when I was 15 years old.

I lived for 25 years in countries like England, Spain, France, Germany, among others.

Can you please tell us more about your journey?

I started traveling seriously all over Europe when I was 16 years old. There was this cheap amazing Inter-rail ticket to travel all over Europe for 30 days. Cruising through Europe, playing (busking) in the streets, and sleeping on the trains.

My life just kind of turned into that, traveling and playing concerts.

I produce music for other artists too, and I have had songs in the Eurovision song contest.

I sold gold and platinum with my band UNDROP.

We are still playing together with UNDROP, and we have some big festivals next summer, the IFEMA 90s festival in June 2022 Madrid, Mombeltran festival in Avila, and for sure more coming up.

I am inspired by HANOI ROCKS from Finland, INDOCHINE from France, BOB MARLEY from Jamaica, among many, and now I am listening to ZAZ from France, RUSSELL BRAND, RALPH SMART, and WIM HOF are amazing too.

I never wait for inspiration to come. I always create my own inspiration.

I have learned the hard way through trial and error, just grinding and grinding.

I am in charge of my life, and I learn from my mistakes and other people’s mistakes.

I am a strong believer in KARMA, action-reaction and I try to plant positive seeds every day.

My concert show is a magic mix of feelings and instruments.

I go back and forth between pure acoustic guitar singer-songwriter pop and meditative dance music with 432-hertz handpan and other mystical instruments and sounds. The show lasts more or less 1.5 hours.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

I try to be grateful for the small things in life. To meet nice people and to see new places on this crazy planet.

I always do my best for the people who come to see my show; it is also important that I enjoy what I am doing, which reflects in the music.

Please tell us about your upcoming Europe tour.

I am touring Europe in 2022. It’s going to be a magic tour, acoustic singer-songwriter, pop, dance-beats with meditative feeling songs.

I use electric and acoustic guitars, dance beats, and alternative instruments like a 432-hertz Handpan.

I released the single LOVE ME TONIGHT in 2021, and it’s been on some alternative dance charts around the world, EDM style.

I try to stay fit and healthy with vegan food, avoid alcohol and other drugs. I am touring Europe 2022 in my 7 meters long Mercedes Sprinter, and I carry all the heavy equipment. I play the concerts, and I drive the van.

I need to stay fit and healthy if the tour is going to work.
