Raised in poverty with a single parent, Music has always been his outlet. Let’s hear the inspiring story of Hip Hop Artist MarleyHD!

Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing MarleyHD, a hip hop artist.

Please tell us about your journey.

I come from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, raised in poverty, high crime areas with a single parent and low income. I always looked at music as my outlet. It was a passion, no matter the genre. Also, I come from a family of musicians. They were all big on different sounds. As I got older, I started to practice and focus on my craft. My mom has always been my biggest fan. I told her one day, I am going to make it where you wouldn’t have to work for anything.

Please tell us about your music.

I’m an independent artist on the rise, still building my fan base as it’s growing, and I’m constantly grinding. I know one day my prayers will be answered, and I’ll be one of the big names. I’m the rap game.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

One of my main strategies for myself is to move at your own pace but stay consistent and focused. Never worry about what anyone else has going on.

”Don’t look behind you; focus on what’s in front of you.“
