Today, we have the pleasure of Interviewing Music Artist Jimmy Nhat-Thien Tran Aka Badass Tran. He is one of the best music artists that are breaking the norms. His latest video song is on YouTube now. The video is refreshing, showing people in masks and amazing views of Vietnam. The song is titled Vietnamese; it shows how people have become fake and greedy.
Badass Tran was born in San Jose, California. The thing that sets him apart from others is his universal content.
The noticeable part of the video is the flag Badass Tran is holding. The yellow flag with three red stripes has a long history and is enough to elaborate the song where Tran states that his culture is dying. Yellow has been a color of Vietnamese people for thousands of years now. Three red stripes are an analogy to blood veins depicting Vietnam’s struggle throughout history. Badass Tran has deep rap lyrics that are fun to listen to as well. The song is now available on YouTube.
Let’s start with the Interview.
Please tell us about your journey.
I was outcasted by my own family. I was homeless at the beginning of 2019, currently working on making something out of myself.
Please tell us about your latest singles.
I dropped two new singles. One is “San Hoe Shit,” and the other one is “Vietnamese,” I think it’s important cause I’m bringing the culture together and something for everyone to talk about during the pandemic.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
To be honest, a lot of love, connection, and money.
Any message for our readers.
