Hi Lizzie, Great to have you with us today! Please share with our readers about yourself.
Hi, I am a Soul/Pop artist from Adelaide, Australia. I started writing and releasing music in 2020 whilst in lockdown. I have been singing since I was three years old and love writing music about my personal life.
Please tell us about your song, Skye.
“Skye” is a song for my best friend. I have written a lot of songs over the years about people who have done me dirty. This song is for the best friend who has gotten me through it all. It is a story of two best friends meeting when they are young and staying close even though they have chosen different paths; they reunite because of their love of music.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
The strategies that help me are that my storytelling is very transparent, and my melodies tend to catch and get stuck in people’s heads easily.
