He has been making music beats since he was 5 years old…Meet Music Producer Ryan D. Neely from Louisville!!

Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Ryan D. Neely, a beat-making music producer from Louisville, Kentucky. He enjoys creating dance, pop, and hip hop beat laced with vocal chops.

Please tell us about your journey.

My journey is pretty adventurous due to my life story. Growing up in a military family allowed me the opportunity to travel and live on both sides of the planet, from Germany to Hawaii. By the time I reached high school, my parents had decided to settle down in Kentucky. After I graduated high school, I myself enlisted in the Army Reserves and have been blessed to see parts of the Middle East and Asia within my own assignments. Amid all the moves, I was able to meet some unique people, experienced different cultures, and was influenced by various forms of music.

Since I was five, through toys and software, I have always had a way to make a beat no matter where I was located. Making music has been a staple in my life that has always emerged as a prime hobby. Therefore, last year I got serious again about producing music and releasing it on streaming platforms.

Please tell us more about your music.

When I first started making beats, I wanted to be known for hip hop music. But everything I put out had a dance feel to it. I believe the feels I have been blessed to generate are influenced by the sounds I came to like from Hawaiian beach vibes, the techno music of German weekend radio shows, and the booming sounds of my birthplace Fort Myers, Florida. Therefore, I have continuously made giving people a rhythm to move to a goal in my compositions.

I honestly do not have a business. I am a sole proprietor who sells music through Distrokid. This allows me to remain independent and only have to pay taxes on my earnings, versus have to pay a city or local tax. If I happen to increase in notoriety, maybe then I will consider incorporating something.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

Building relationships and nourishing friendships have been the best plan of action for me when it comes to any of my success. I do not expect everyone to think my music is awesome. But, through teamwork, I have been given opportunities to network with marketers, bloggers, curators, and more who help get my music to people I may not have reached in my efforts alone.

Any message for our readers.

If there was anything I could share with readers, it would be to honor God, stay humble, and love people. Friendship is better than fame. Also, being humble gives a person a chance to mature into their vision.
