We had the pleasure of interviewing Ronmivida, a German American music producer known for specializing in dance, EDM, and house music.
Here are the excerpts from the interview.
Hi Ronmivida, Great to have you with us today! Please share with our readers about your journey.
Hi, in 2022, I started the Ronmivida project. In 2012, I founded the company Rmusicproductions. Since then, I have collaborated with several national and world-renowned artists, including Cheryl Green, Fabian Schreiber, Samer (Colombia) and Ulf Kleiner, one of German’s most talented pianist, and last but not least with the excellent musicians Ralf Guske and Tilmann Höhn.
I tried to take my artistry to the next level and released my debut single titled “Boy” in 2022.
Over the decade, I expanded my musical landscape and performed as a DJ in the Frankfurt dance and house music scene in the 1990s at the Pussycat in Wiesbaden.
Since 2012, I produced the singles “Seelenspiegel,” “Die Eine Nacht,” “Anker,” and the album “Kokon.” The German pop artist Cheryl Green as well as singles for Fabian Schreiber, including “take my hand” and “thank you.”
I look back on many great songs and releases. I bring to life the vision of EDM and dance music artists. I love music and am always working on new electronic music ideas which I like to merge with the sound of the last decades.
I was born in Germany, and after many years, I found my siblings in America. Before, I never knew I had siblings. It was a special moment, and I am thankful. And now I know all my 5 Siblings love and make music. Now I know from where I have this love of music.
Please tell us about your music projects.
My first EP, “Time Warp,” means a travel true time and music. I love music, and every piece of music at every time is special, and all is travel. Music can tell a story, can make pictures, and can exploit your imagination.
In June, my new single, “El Momento,” will be released. This single is sung in Spanish by the wonderful female singer Alicia Orozco. The song has the potential to be a summer hit. I hope enough people will hear it to give this song a chance. It’s awesome.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
I work hard. I try to make every song a little bit better than the last one. My music is a journey through time through the 90s and today. I manage to mix times to make good danceable music that surprises, is fun, and also tells stories. But if you just want to dance, that’s also possible.
Any message for our readers?
It makes me happy when I know that people like my music, that they are having fun, and that they get away from their everyday lives. And I’m grateful for every listener I can give a moment of joy and satisfaction through music. I’m aware that it’s not easy without being seen live. But I will be living in Bali next year, and I plan to play a nice house set once a month at a party on the beach there.
