‘Captain Graveyard’ band’s member Djennifer’s musical journey!

Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Djennifer from the band ‘Captain Graveyard’.

Please tell us something about yourself.

I scream in a band called Captain Graveyard. I love to play RuneScape!

How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us about your journey.

I was in a really dark place and wanted to get out, so I took my guitar and wrote a cover of 3OH!3’s hit single ‘Don’t Trust Me.’

Eventually, people wanted to join me on this journey, and we made it sound really professional, and that’s how Captain Graveyard was born!

Who are your role models?

My role model is Chester Bennington of Linkin Park(R.I.P.) I love him so much I wanted to scream just like him.

What inspires you?

What inspires me is sounds and seeing bands tour. I wanna jump in a car and play live shows as well!

Please tell us more about your music.

My highlight is actually touching people’s hearts with the music I make! That’s something I never thought would happen! We also just put out a new music video!

What’s your most memorable experience?

I was about to release a cover and bought a ticket to Norway (where my producer lives), and we meme’d a lot and created an inside joke ‘Stor Kuk Energi’, which means Big D**k Energy. We still use it to this day, haha!

Which social media channels work best for promoting your work?

I always use Facebook and Instagram. I usually post memes and funny videos with my band on it.

What’s your greatest fear?

My greatest fear is losing the ones I love before I die.

Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?

I wish I understood life more so I could write better stories.

What keeps you going when things get tough?

Things that keep me going are reaching out to people!

Any message for our readers.

Believe in yourself even when things get tough.

How can people connect with you?
