This book is about my almost 3 month trip to Cape Town, South Africa. I was there teaching dance and choreographing. I lived among the locals and give detailed information about this trip from a woman’s perspective. This book helps those who will travel to South Africa in the future or for those who love culture and love learning about other countries. As a travel advisor, I also help people book trips and do that for anyone reading this book.

Please share more about your experiences during your trip to Cape Town, South Africa.

South Africa has infinite things to see, experience, witness, and do. It is just the most magical place. My time was mostly spent in Cape Town. I took road trips to Simon’s Town, Robben Island, and False Bay, and many attractions surrounding the beautiful city of Cape Town. It was truly breathtaking. After my 23 hour journey from Las Vegas to South Africa, my impression was, “wow, it’s kind of like home!” My hometown being Queens, New York City. I was slightly shocked at the familiar infrastructure and the hustle & bustle of daily life. It just felt like home…

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

The strategies that helped me in my journey were keeping a diary during my trip and having the time to write the book during the Covid shutdown.

Any message for our readers.

My message to readers is that South Africa is NOT how you see it in the media. It’s amazing and full of culture with the same amenities that we have in the United States. Also, I want to share that ANYTHING is possible…you just have to go for it!!!!!
