Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Nataniah Guzman, Founder of ‘Connection.’
Hi, please tell us about what it is that you do.
I run a store on Shopify by the name La Fascination that sells apparel with a goal to create a connection between people. I’ve created a brand called Connection so that anyone who buys from the store will be helping raise money to donate to various organizations. The website is very new and in need of an audience. I have created an event in the past to raise money and created merchandise to fund donations toward veterans. This time I want to create a fund for veterans, small businesses, and those in need.
What has been your inspiration behind the brand’ Connection.’
I’ve worked on this idea to create a bond between people and need to spread the trend of supporting one another. These times seem to be full of reasons to be divided. I want to remind the world there is more good and love than hate. It just needs a louder voice.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
The strategy I’ve used to get this far into working on such a big project by myself with little to no help or money is to not focus on what I do not have but what I am working on getting. I may not have the funds to do very much right now, but I only have to reach out to those willing to listen and trust. I educate myself on finances and business and dare to take the risks I see as necessary to achieve a goal. Is it scary to know the chance of failing is there? That no one will listen or support an idea just because I do? Yes, however, there is more to gain through failure than if I never tried and never put out a message of hope. Risks, trust, and the ability to dare are what I’ve used to start the projects I’ve done, and it has brought good supporting people into my life.
