Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Celia, an Author who has been writing for years for children. Later, she started writing novels in the Romance genre. Her debut romance novel, ‘Set My Soul On Fire‘ takes readers on a journey through love’s many shadows. Let’s hear her story…

Please tell us about yourself.

In winter, I live in the warmth of the Spanish sunshine, and in summer, I live in England. I am a retired child development college lecturer who loves to write stories that are lined up in my head. My publishing journey started with writing for children under the pen name Lia Ginno. Then I turned to romance and have published two very different novels, ‘Set My Soul On Fire‘ and ‘Loving a war child.’ Soon to be published is a third book, ‘Spanish Roots‘ that is to be published in March.

Please tell us about your novel, Set My Soul On Fire.

Set my Soul on Fire is a fairytale romance, spicy, sexy, beautiful settings, and of course, lots of money. It tells of Francine, a recently divorced woman and has lost herself and her dreams in marriage. Feeling hopeless and fed up after going on holiday with friends, an exciting fantasy tumbles into her mind, which becomes a determined ambition for her to follow. The dream takes Francine on a discovery of who she is and the many different shades of love.

Synopsis:

Divorced Francine was a young virgin when she met her ex-husband. After a passionless, controlling marriage, where she lost her dreams and herself, she feels old and inadequate. Craving a life that will make her feel alive and set her soul on fire, a challenging idea emerges, and an unexpected change of fortune takes her on a journey of discovery and into a new world where the last thing on her list is love, sex or a man….or is it?

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

The strategies for me were more like a dream too. I wanted to be a journalist when at school, but I did not get the right education. I had to leave school at 15 because my father did not believe in educating women! And I could not spell. When my two wonderful girls were in their teens, I had more time and started writing short stories, and it has grown from there.
